What will it cost?

The cost varies depending on:

• the type of subscription (standard or small)

a standard subscription provides enough to feed a family of four and a small subscription is enough for two adults sharing.

• whether you choose to do the 'WorkShift' option

we ask people with standard subscriptions to carry out 3 workshifts during the course of their subscription year, and people with small subscriptions would be expected to carry out 2 workshifts. The workshifts are 3 hours each, so it's not a huge commitment. If you decide to do the WorkShifts you will receive a discount of £21.00 per shift from your subscription cost (the discounts are included in the figures below).

• how you pay for your subscription

you can pay for your annual subscription by cheque in advance (this is the cheapest option) or you can pay by monthly standing order. Whichever way you pay, we ask that you make an commitment to EarthShare for a full year.

• which pickup point you use to collect your box

we have had to introduce a surcharge for use of the Elgin pickup point to cover the cost to EarthShare of transporting boxes through to Elgin and storing them there (but it still works out cheaper for you than driving through to Forres or Findhorn each week).
