Workshare

If you have opted for Workshare you will be receiving a 10% discount on the price of your box, in return for helping us out on the Field, near Rafford. See map below. Tasks include weeding, fruit picking and potato harvesting. Your help is very much appreciated and there’s no better place to be on a lovely summers day!

 

A reminder of your commitments:


Family box – 3 shifts:

  • 1 weeding in May or June
  • 1 fruit picking in July or August
  • 1 tattie harvesting in October

Small Box – 2 shifts:

  • 1 weeding in May or June
  • 1 fruit picking in July or August

Mini Box – 1 shift, either:

  • Weeding in May or June, or 1 fruit picking in July or August


    Workshifts have now finished for 2009. Thanks very much indeed to all our subscribers and supporters for great help with a great harvest!

 

Where & when?

  • Weeding. At the Field, our main growing site, 2km north-east of Rafford, between Wester Lawrenceton and Easter Lawerenceton. Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am to 1pm or 2pm to 5pm. Park at entrance.
  • Fruitpicking. In upper Rafford, at J&J Salt’s cabinet makers.
  • Tattie Harvesting. At the Field, as for weeding.
